Hello! My name is Joan McEnhill, and I’m an actor currently based in Boulder, Colorado. I work primarily on the stage but also have a passion for voice over and costuming work.

I’m standing here today, the person that I am, because I have been entirely shaped by theater. I started dancing because I was told to and began acting on accident, and there’s not a moment that goes by where I’m not thankful for that fact. Every part of me has always longed to perform in any capacity, and has turned into a need to involve myself regardless of it being on-stage or off. It’s been a never ending battle to try and figure out how to label myself and after a certain point I just stopped. I’m me. Trans, queer, actor, gay, all of these labels have been used against me in some form in my life but they’re things that I would never want to be without.
